
Safety Statements
The HSA states that safety statements are a requirement from organisations to produce a written programme to safeguard:
the safety and health of employees while they work
the safety and health of other people who might be at the workplace, including customers, visitors and members of the public
The statement represents the organisation’s commitment to their staff’s health and safety. It also states how employers will ensure the safety and health of their staff and the resources necessary to do so.
