Course Details:

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 – section 11 requires employers to have procedures in place to deal with any emergency that may arise in the workplace. The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulation 2007 – requires employers to designate at each place of work  under the employer’s control the number of  occupational first aiders as is necessary to give first – aid at the place of work concerned.

Objective:

All persons wishing to keep their certification in date and in accordance with the requirements as set by the HSA are required to undergo refresher training.
